Kevin Evans

Originally from Detroit, Kevin graduated from the University of Michigan-Dearborn, where he immersed himself in the vibrant world of media and journalism. During his college years, he honed his skills as a writer and communicator, eventually becoming Editor-In-Chief of The Michigan Journal, the university's acclaimed newspaper.
But it was during his time as Editor that Kevin stumbled upon his true passion: photography. With his newfound love for visual storytelling.


As a music photo journalist, Kevin delved into the exhilarating world of concert photography. He had the privilege of capturing iconic moments on stage, immortalizing legendary artists like Kiss, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Bob Seger, and The Beastie Boys, among others. His unique perspective and artistic eye allowed him to portray the essence of these performers, creating images that resonated with audiences all over.


After leaving his beloved Detroit, Kevin's restless spirit took him on a nomadic adventure across various cities. From bustling Raleigh to vibrant Houston, from historic Hartford to sprawling Los Angeles, he experienced the diverse cultures and lifestyles that shaped each place. And finally, Kevin found himself irresistibly drawn to the creative energy and warm embrace of Austin, Texas, where he decided to put down roots and call it home.


In Austin, Kevin continues to pursue his passions, immersing himself in the rich arts scene that thrives within the city. He has become a respected figure in the community, capturing the essence of Austin's unique blend of music, culture.


Despite the twists and turns of his journey, Kevin's unwavering dedication to the world of media has allowed him to create a life filled with purpose and fulfillment. Through his storytelling, he has bridged the gap between art and reality, connecting people to the moments that make life extraordinary.
